Independent guide. Not affiliated with Turnitin, LLC. Read the Turnitin disclaimer.
Turnitin isn't free, but students usually don't pay for it. Institutions buy licences, and their students and staff use it at no direct cost. Individuals can't buy a personal licence, which is why so many people ask how to use Turnitin for themselves.
Who pays for Turnitin
Schools, universities and publishers pay Turnitin, usually per student per year. Prices aren't published; public records in the US have shown figures from about $2 to over $6 per student. More in how much Turnitin costs.
Can I download or install Turnitin?
