How to Add a Turnitin Report to a Word Document

Supervisors and journals sometimes want the Turnitin report with your paper. Word gives you three options. First, download the report as a PDF.
Option 1: Embed the PDF
- Insert → Object → Object → Create from File.
- Browse to the Turnitin PDF.
- Tick Display as icon for a clickable icon, or leave it to show page one.
Mac: Insert → Object → From File. Works only while the file stays DOCX.
Option 2: Insert the overview as an image
- Open the PDF at the overview page.
- Screenshot it (Windows+Shift+S or Cmd+Shift+4).
- Insert → Pictures, and add a caption like "Figure A1. Turnitin similarity report overview".
Option 3: Appendix
For theses, add "Appendix: Turnitin similarity report" and insert the overview image, then attach the full PDF separately.
