How to Find and Use Your Turnitin Submission ID

You can't open a Turnitin report by typing its submission ID into a website. The ID identifies a submission; the report is opened from the assignment or account that made it.
What the ID looks like
Newer reports use a format like trn:oid:::1:3664802203. Older ones show a plain number (the "paper ID").
Where to find it
- Digital receipt after submitting.
- Report information panel (the "i" icon in Feedback Studio).
- Downloaded PDF: header of every page and the cover page.

Beware "check by ID" sites
They have no access to Turnitin. Keep your ID private: it appears on your report and identifies your work. We blur IDs in every screenshot we publish.
